It has been proven that 90% of health problems with our pets are because of poor nutrition in their diets. That is why I stared to do research on dog food, when my Beagle started to have seizures, and that is why he is now on a homemade dog food diet.
Vets are now treating out pets for the same diseases that doctors have been treating humans for years.. Look at how many vet clinics there are, even in small towns.
The poor quality of commercial pet foods and the lack of regulation of the pet food industry is in direct correlation to the increase in diseases found in our pets
No matter what they say in their commercials, the pet food industry cares about one thing and that’s profits not the health of our pets. We can not continue to take chances with the lives of our loved ones, and that is why I have decided to transition my dogs to a homemade dog food diet.
When making this transition the most important thing to know is your homemade dog food diet must be formulated to be nutritionally balanced. I’ll share some great resources that I found that will help make this easy.

Contrary to what we have been programmed to believe the life expectancy of a dog is closer to 20 than it is 10.. It’s as simple as this, they are what they eat. If we feed them toxic crap, then they die early. It’s been proven that a homemade dog food diet gives our dogs the best chance to live to see 20.
Switching to a homemade dog food diet gives you complete control over the ingredients that your dog eats Making the food in your own kitchen means that you are preparing your dogs meals in a much cleaner environment then a pet food plant.
It would be wise to take the time to do this right. It wouldn’t do as much good if we just used processed food to make our homemade dog food, when we know that it is the cause of some human diseases.
We can all do this because all the hard work has been done for us and all we need to do is follow the instructions.. The thought of my dogs living 8 years longer just by changing to a homemade dog food diet has me very excited.
