How many pet owners still think about the dog food recall of 2007? There is no way the thousands of pet owners that had to deal with a sick and dying pet will every forget that pain.
According to Wikipedia 5300 pet food products were involved in the dog food recall in 2007. The commercial pet food industry is still having dog food recall alerts, but it’s not hitting the daily news because not enough pets are dying.
Pet owners are scared to death as to when the next big dog food recall will hit the news, but there are scarier issues about pet food that should be worrying pet owners. The amount of toxins being added to pet food during the manufacturing process is more than enough cause to be scared.
Now everyone knows that the Chinese was adding Melamine to pet foods and that is what triggered the deadly dog food recall of 2007. There are chemicals being added to the pet food process that will rob years from your pet’s life and it might not be as obviously deadly as Melamine but it is.
Why are our pets dying from human sounding diseases like cancer and kidney failure? When will our dogs start living up to their life expectancy of twenty? Is there a reason for my Beagle to just start to have seizures at six years old?
Why. is one of the questions I wanted answers for when I started my research on how to cure my dog’s seizure. My research has shown me that the majority of the world’s pets will never be part of a dog food recall alert, but are dying a slow death from pet food just the same.
I was outraged at what the pet food industry was getting away with, and my outrage turned to a passion to find an answer. The research shows that a dog can live a long and healthy life if feed correctly and that is what I decided I must do.
It’s fun to learn about what your dog should be eating and how by you taking a little effort in preparing your own dog food, you will make him live a longer life. After only one month Copper is happier and has more energy and it sounds like other are having the same results.
